A Sunday at Home

Oh, Sundays... we at the TrygKerz house LOVE Sundays. Here are some pictures from our Sunday home together (also, Kris' birthday!).

Oh, and here is are a couple pictures from this morning. My wonderful friend Ashley sewed this adorable cloth diaper (as well as another one with a porcupine) as a first birthday gift for Edie. Ashley, by the way, is an amazing (AMAZING!) quilter based out of Bismarck, N.D. Check out her business Sew Addicted.

We took a great trip out to central North Dakota this weekend. Usually, when we visit family near Minot, we drive right through Bismarck. Of course, the "we are almost there" thing doesn't work very well when you have a baby who needs to get out of the car. Luckily, we have some pretty great friends in Bismarck, and I think stopping will be something we always do!

Ashley and Neil had their twins Addison and Carter about five weeks ago. It was great to meet them of the first time, play with nearly 4-year old Kaitlyn, and catch up with Ashley. My friend Kari even stopped by during her lunch break!

Edie's First Baseball Game

Like I mentioned in her 44 week post, Edie attended her very first baseball game last night. We had a great time and stayed until the end of the 7th inning. Thank you Linda Ottesen for the great tickets and Ann-n-Dan for joining us!

Edie also met Hawkeye (Redhawk's mascot). She squealed in delight when she spotted him from the balcony, but when he came closer she was a little more weary.

Congratulations Madeline & Eric!

My good friend Madeline was hitched to her very nice beau on Saturday in Colorado Springs. It was yet another wedding I couldn't attend this year, but the whole TrygKerz clans wishes them a happy and fun future together.

Congrats Madeline & Eric... we'll visit soon... all those breweries await!

Congratulations Ann & Dan!

This is LONG over due.

Ann & Dan were hitched on Saturday, August 8th... and it has taken me this long to put something up on the blog! Oh, my! We were unable to attend the wedding as it was just days after Edie's birth. Luckily, I knew their photographer (the super-duper Chad Richardson), so I was able to get a sneak peek of their wedding the day of the event.

Ann's Totally '80s Bachelorette Party

My great friend Ann is getting married on August 8th... and, it was about time we had a bachelorette party for her. So, why not have it '80s themed? It was a total blast!

I took some photos of us getting ready, plus set up a photo booth.



My sister-in-law Karmen, an '80s child, was our official hair dresser. We had some big hair by the end of the night.
